Earls Croome paid a visit
A 70+ mile Sunday ride to Earls Croome. Bit of a fractured group with people going ‘alternative’ ways to get there!
Leaving Velo Towers at punctual time of 09:12 the gang headed towards and around Sandhurst lanes, via Norton down Wainloads and up through Forthampton. A bit of a split at this point as we headed up through Longdon all the way to Upton.
A second split saw most of the group head north along the main road to Worcester to play with the traffic, before heading east towards Norton (different Norton) then south down to the coffee stop at Earls Croome (40 miles by this point).
Returning over the M5 twice to stick to the lanes, via Strensham and Twyning before hitting the A38 into Tewkesbury. From there it was through the lanes of Fiddington, Tredington and Stoke Orchard and then past Staverton back to Velo HQ.
Tired legs but a good sunny (cold) day on the bike.
